Valkyrie
by
Lucrezia

On a bed she lay
Surrounded by flames
Sweet diadem of lust
O Precious Valkyrie
Approached by none
But her hero's staff
A phallic mammoth pick
To puncture her virgin ice
O Shining Northern Gem
Did you hear his breath
Over the menacing crackle
Of empassioned fire
As he laboured so well
To rescue you from
The fate that you, ever-virgin
Was condemn'd?
Did you cry out
Fierce snow maiden
As he drove into you
And his sweat fell upon
Your white breast
And rolled to your navel
Pooled deep as the eyes
Of Mighty Thor?
When you lay conquered,
Sweet North Aurora,
Did you weep even as
Your hero smothered
The breath of your chaste
Bosom in the salt-youth
Of his kisses, ever golden
Even as you shone
In pale wantoness?
You live on in myself
O Valkyrie Rare
And in the music
Of my companions' voices
Pure and high as Odin's Throne
We will reverence you
O Goddess Consumed
And we shall weep
For what was taken from
You, our Ice Sister
As you melted beneath him.
