The Invocation of Androgyny:
by JCA
Would that I embosommed thy scent, Aphrodite
To quench, in sweet absorption
From the font of your pungent dampness
For your incense more imperious than venom,
More persuasive than the red embrace of the bacchanal
That pleads in pallid want, in rival to your quickening musk.
For mere admiration would pitifully fail the mark
Where desire is perfected in suffusing the blood
Entreating the soul,
Soliciting the flesh,
Uniting a virile trajectory
That seals the fate of identity
