Menstrual Dreams
by K.
Brittany Fedorev Vanderkleed
My scarlet fertility disgusts him.
Repulsed by my feminity,
He bestows no touch or caress
Upon me as I bleed and flow
With rich abundance, the ability
To create new life.
So I dream --
He uncorks me,
Pulling the cotton from me
With his teeth as a rush
Of goddess blood emerges.
He holds me with a passion
So tender, with a touch
Which whispers of the beauty
Of my treasures;
Yet, he moans and devours me
As though I am ripe fruit,
Spilling the sweetest of juices,
Which his desire can not resist.
The more he consumes me,
The more of me there is to consume.
The passion within my feminine form,
The consuming and renewing,
Gives birth to more of me,
And I am proud to be a woman --
Ripe, beautiful, and swelling
With abundance.
