Equal Time
by Douglas Wallace

Has this ever happened to you?
You're taking a shower with your lover
And one thing leads to another . . .

But wait, have you thought to turn off the water?
In the heat of the moment it's easy to forget
Take a moment now to consider these statistics:

During only one incidence of extended intercourse
Up to 30 gallons of water are wasted
In a lifetime that could be enough to drain a reservoir,

Every year over 500 people are hospitalized for exhaustion
Induced by exertion in the heat and humidity of a running shower
Costing nearly $1,000,000.00 in medical expenses;

So please take time to think
For yourself, for your lover, and for the environment
When you get turned on, turn off the water!

This has been a public service announcement
Brought to you by SOAPbox
