Friends...
For ten years it has been my privilege and joy to design, edit and occasionally write for Sauce*Box. It truly is one of the first, and in my prejudiced opinion, remained throughout, one of the best erotic literary e-zines on the web. This distinction was NOT due to me, but to all the wonderful writers who contributed their work to Sauce*Box. They created the interest, the quality and the fun.
Now the time has come to discontinue Sauce*Box as a regular periodical quarterly. I will not bore you with all the selfish and/or objective reasons why. I think these matters are often best viewed as "gut checks", instinctual, intuitive perceptions that Sauce*Box's time has come and gone, and it's appropriate to move on to other things.
That does not mean Sauce*Box will not exist at all. I plan to keep it on live support in two ways: 1. The Sauce*Box Archives will remain available online; and 2. Over time I will compile my choices from the archives in a series of volumes called, The Best of Sauce*Box which will be available in .pdf format and perhaps some day in hard copy.
